I think you might be right... to a point. Russian and Ukrainian girl are very attentive and dream to have a beautiful family when they are young... and they tend to seek older men because they are ready to settle down, and as they grow older ,they demand what is best for the family and seek a professional career to help provide for the family. Of course their are alot of Russian and Ukrainian doctors and engineers... they are older and career minded but when they where young... they partied and had fun and dreamed of having a family.

I should know... because I found my wife here on luckylovers. She was 18 and I was 42 when we met in 2005 and married a few months later. We are still happilly married and grow to love each other as each day passes and we have a beautiful daughter who is the joy of my life... when my wife was 18 through 20 all we did was go clubbing and have house parties but when she got pregnant and had the baby... she matured very quickly and now is back in school at a local college then she will transfer to a University to become a doctor because now she is very career minded and is not thinking about life today... she is thinking about life tommorrow and the example she will set for our daughter ... she is an amazing woman... juggling school and a family... in my world ...she is the most beautiful woman in my eyes... I am lucky to have her... because she loves me for me. I am not rich... Im just an average middle class american who seeks that elusive piece of the american dream... and I found her in the Ukraine

My opinion is this:

Most are very beautiful, charming, upstanding, very caring of their children, very clean, loving and romantic if they are satisfied and happy, and organized. Most that I have met value security more than love, and have some small issues with being spoiled, stubborn, become overly angry, have a tendency to hold grudges and anger too long.

My advice: Remember men aren't God and they don't have control over all circumstances in life; they have bosses, and make mistakes too that can't always be forseen or controlled. Forget about preferential treatment in life and ask why should anyone do or give me anything just because of me ?

In comparason to American women foreign women are generally more sutible for marriage and family life.

If a double post is shown, its not my doing, but the work of a cowardly child's pouting.

All women are the same... and are beautiful in thier own right and are a product of thier environment, How they are brought up in their surroundings makes alot of difference. Men from other countries including my own have grown accustom to the women and thier own country and to see or meet another woman from another country whom have totally different characteristic (becauseof the enviroment they grew up in) seem more exotic and we know how exotic foriegn women are. But in all actuallity it is a matter of preference... I myself find Ukraine women more beautiful and prefer them to American women... I have friends that find asian women more exotic and beautiful and I also have friends in eroupe that find American women beautiful, so it is a matter of preference... like stated before ...."Russian and Ukrainian Women are BEAUTIFUL!!!" all any woman wants is love, security and a beautiful family and did I mention "Ukrainian women are Beautiful !!! "

i am not a russian and i dont agree

some are lazzy and happy to find an old man and to be a hausfrau, but they are not in my friendslist

. There are a lot of wemen from ex URSS who live in Deutschland 3,4,6,8,10,14 years

and they speak only 10 words in deutsch language, or something more ugly - everytime when i met them, they complane about all in Germany, people, language, food...no tolerance and no adaptions.
If i dont like the country - i just leave it or i shut up

Thank You E-V-A and Vera957 for the thumbs up... as for Cinty ... maybe I was talking about slavic women... they are the most beautiful in the world... maybe a majority of the beautiful slavic woman come from Russia and the Ukraine... as for women from the ex-USSR whom migrated to the west like Germany and have lived there for 3 to 14 years are lazy and don't want to learn the language of their adopted country...I lived in Frankfurt Germany for 5 years stationed at Rhein Main Air Base and I have met alot of Russians that live in germany and consider them good friends and they adapted very well to German Culture and spraken sie duetsch very well... it was my russian friends that helped me learn german while I was there in Deutschland... as the old saying goes " When in Rome ... DO as the Romans DO !!!" as far as some slavic women being lazy and are happy to find an old man and being a housewife is not really a lazy person at all... It takes great work to find an old man to be comfortable with and stay home and take care of the old man... they are happy and content with their life. My wife does not consider me an old man... more like mature... age is nothing but a number... when she came here to California to live with me , she got her drivers lisence in three months and got Scuba diving qualified in 6 months ...how is this possible... we ordered the books in Russian and she took the test in Russian... now she is in a local college learning english and her english improves with each passing day she hope to tranfer to a University to become a Doctor and set an example for our beautiful daughter... Lets not Hate for other peoples short comings... you are a very attractive and smrat woman and you are still in Germany adapting to your life there... I pretty sure you can find other russian speaking people with some successes in Germany

I am sorry, but Ukraine, Moldova and some other countries from FSU have much more economical difficulties than Russia.

glasses, I can't tell anything about Moldova, but I live in Ukraine all my life. Despite all economic difficulties that we have in our country, the living standards of people are rather high. I graduated from a University, live in my own flat, have a good job with salary over average and travel a lot, both for business and pleasure. Most of the girls of my environment are successful, and I don't know anyone who is desperate to marry an old man with a thick wallet.
This your phrase can misinform those foreigners who haven't been here. Like Rahat said in one of the blogs, some guys are almost ready to believe we live in cages without electricity, nothing to say about PC and internet. Probably not all cities in Russia look like Moscow and Peter too? Generalization is not applicable here.

I agree with glasses - we all from USSR - are Russians for foreigners...
I can tell about Moldova...

Here also people can live good.. And enjoy life.. And not to try to find some old man only for to leave from their contry... I don't know - maybe such women exist - but I didn't see.... I guess our society are civilized enough... And we even have computers and free exits in Internet... and much more..

But I saw some men, which are so stupid to have some objectiveness... they ussually follow some empty myphes... Ha-ha.. Is it possible to make some blind one sighted?

WHY are Russians always wanting to make nuclear war over simple small understandings.
NOT every misunderstanding, disagreement, or difference of opinion requires hostile attitudes.
I think it is funny when you ask Russian woman question about one thing and they answer different question you did not ask. for example:
Q: "How is weather?
A: "I am happy with my Swede" (Even though he cheats on me and sees black woman.)

my opinion abaut russian women...( i know generalising is not true!)

- they are generally so beautiful.
- they are open minded and also opened for new adventures.
- they are well educated and much more intelligent than westernen women.
- they think that they will find rich and easy life in a westernen country.
- some of them had bad experiences with russian men.
- they think westernen men much more polite and richer.
- some of them want to have a westernen passport very very much, they may marry with 30 years older to get a new passport.
- most of them think that russian men drink too much.
- if they find her romance, they become a good partner and mother i see many good family here ( russian&turkish )
- a lot of them expecting free holiday and ready for sex for free holiday.
- if we compare, they earn much less then westernen women, cost of living also cheap in their country.
- some russian women are working in the sex industry in westernen countries, in my country, too.
- they dont like to be catogorized essecially in the subjects abaut sex.
- they generally looking like westernen, but their mind is easternen.
- althought everything, they are most beautiful ladies in this planet and very kind with their parthner.

Я считаю что нужно всегда быть честным! Иначе может и беда приключиться! 28 лет тому назад я была очень молоденькая и красивенькая ... Встретила я парня в Москве...Оказался американцем....Такой роман у нас был! Цветы, прогулки, разговоры...Он был умный и талантливый! Нам было весело и хорошо...А потом произошло то, что происходит у всех влюбленных...Только для меня это была не радость! Он оказался таким темпераментным что я просто от него сбежала...НА КАМЧАТКУ В ЭКСПИДИЦИЮ!!!! В Москве было не спрятаться - он меня везде находил....Я его темперамент всю жизнь с содрогание вспоминала....Для кого то его темперамент - в самый раз, а для меня это была каторга и ужас! В этом году он узнал что я овдовела(у нас общие друзья) и начался психологический террор....Он мне звонил, закидывал письмами, типа мы старые друзья....Потом он мне выдал, что я была И ЕСТЬ "его навязчивая идея и идеал всю жизнь" и что все остальные женщины ему так и не в кайф.....БЛИИИИН.....А потом я возьми и спроси его - ну а как у тебя с твоим темпераментом сейчас? Слава те Господи что спросила! Он мне ТАААААААААКОЕ выдал! За годы оказывается его темперамент не только не угас, а даже окреп и он еще опыта набрался в области "ДИКОГО СЕКСА".....

Вы представляете????? Причем он мне это выдал с гордостью! Мол теперь меня вообще ждут неземные наслаждения.....Одуреть....Короче я спустила все плавно и на тормозах....Объяснила все спокойно и по человечески...Он понял. for me is a puzzle why all western men trying to find a russian woman, when in the world a lot of other women from poore countries like countries of Latin America.

American men for example when was iron curtain and they could not even dream about russian liked mexican women they for sure much close mentally to american culture,what reason for american men bring a russian wife from quite another culture and then suffering???

I know one LL man who turned to mexican women and after marriage and divorsed with a russian he found that mexicans sweet and live close what is much comfortable meet often before marriage .

Мне Ташка, подруга сказала (только что по скайпу), что тут, похоже, не только автор блога поработал, но и модератор. Еще она сказала, что похоже кота забанили за его персональные атаки, а потом и ее. Простите, по английски плохо шпрехаю. Но она сказала, что ее, скорее всего забанили, за ее тост хулиганский, обращенный модератору, за то что русские женщины лучше американок и канадок, иначе бы их бизнес бы не существовал. За красоту и мудрость русских женщин и за процветание ЛЛ :). Подруга ездила, подруга знает. В штатах бывает регулярно. И еще сказала, что тема провокационная, поскольку все женщины по всему белому свету практически одинаковые. Всем одного нужно любви и понимания. Мы ничем не лучше и не хуже. Может чуть чуть покрасивее, но это на любителя. Следим за собой больше. Да и вообще глупо спорить! на терротории бывшего союза мне казалось национальность по большей мере одна русскоязычная! но когда вот начинают разделять мол мы русские мы чуть ли не Европейцы! мы отличамся от Молдаван или Украинцев, чмыря их при этом! Да вы там были? там те же люди и если еще взять во внимание что половину жителей России выходцы с той же самой Украины Молдавии Азейрбаджана (все помешано и перемешано! наверное чистого русского человека чистых корней найти нереально вообще!) Да и вообще глупо спорить! на терротории бывшего союза мне казалось национальность по большей мере одна русскоязычная! но когда вот начинают разделять мол мы русские мы чуть ли не Европейцы! мы отличамся от Молдаван или Украинцев, чмыря их при этом! Да вы там были? там те же люди и если еще взять во внимание что половину жителей России выходцы с той же самой Украины Молдавии Азейрбаджана (все помешано и перемешано! наверное чистого русского человека чистых корней найти нереально вообще!) Ок а говоря кто из нас вообще падок на материальные блага так и тут могу поспорить приведя собственный пример! Я , к примеру вышла замуж по любви, за обыкновенного парня , одногодку, и мы вместе пытаемся как то расти, работаем , я еще и учусь,адаптируюсь ну и работу по дому конечно выполняю, в общем все на мне можно сказать, а вот тут я познакомилась с девушкой из России так вот она и вышла за 50 летнего не бедного шведа! судить по одному случаю не стану но все же факт на лицо!

Клерочка, да кто ж спорит по поводу национальности... Это ж удел людей недалёкеньких... А здесь думаю адеквата больше... На бывшей территории СССР трудно думаю было сохранить кровь без примесей... Я, между прочим, согласна полностью. Смотреть на него и читать его умозаключения куда интереснее, чем во многих других случаях. Думаю, многие могут подтвердить, что PackKat даёт хороший предлог для самовыражения многим мужчинам и женщинам здесь. НО - я вижу отчётливо, что этот мужчина - НЕ МОЙ, а я - НЕ ЕГО. Я поняла это с первого взгляда на него. Я получаю от лицезрения этого совершенства сугубо эстетическое удовольствие. Не побоюсь процитировать Александра Сергеевича - PackKat для меня это "чистейшей прелести чистейший образец"!

И он не вызывает во мне НИКАКИХ низменных страстей. Но иногда хочется немного "поковырять" его после его сентенций - наверное, так люди в музее хотят отломить кусочек от античной статуи - на память!

my opinion about Russian women,
probably the most beautiful women in the world in general, i have visited Russia and Ukraine more than 20 times in the last 10yrs, although i have never dated a lady from eastern europe or spent much time with any ladies (other than business) the one thing i do find is that they are very well educated, very polite & nearly always dressed impeccably, the only donwside i can find is that they very rarely smile, in my country (U.K.) it is normal that if you pass someone on a quiet street you would greet each other with a smile & a good morning/afternoon or hello, i find that when i do this in eastern europe they look at me like i'm a mad man, even in the shops when i buy something, i get my change & say thankyou with a smile, they look at me like they want to shoot me, why is this?

Я на эту тему аж два случая вспомнила.
Была как-то с двумя француженками в Киево-Печерской Лавре. Итак, картина: мы выходим из одной церквушки. Ну, француженки, по своему обыкновению, улыбаются. Навстречу нам идут две украинские девушки. Одна украинка другой приглушенным голосом говорит: и чего б я так улыбалась?
Да, действительно, не принято у нас идти по улице и лыбиться.
Случай второй. С канадцем зашли в супермаркет, ну и продавщица, естественно, на него смотрит исподлобья. Он ей улыбается, она - 0 реакции. Он у меня потом тоже спрашивал, чего это у вас такие продавщицы нерадушные. Я не нашла другого ответа, как объяснить, что часто работодатели экономят деньги на зарплаты, и принимают всех, кто соглашается работать, не запариваясь по поводу имиджа магазина. Плюс, условия работы тяжелые, ночные смены, не всегда есть возможность отдохнуть, пойти в отпуск и т.д. Откуда ж тут хорошее настроение возьмется?

а мне один англичанин сказал, что сначала ему было очень неприятно смотреть на наших угрюмых продавщиц, но потом он понял, что они просто искренние. Ведь в Англии даже если продавец очень устал и ненавидит вас в конце рабочей смены, он все равно должен улыбаться, а у русских все эмоции написаны на лице, и если мы улыбаемся, то только в том случае, что нам действительно хорошо, а не потому что так нужно
