I have been seeing a lot of articles on the internet, and, in news headlines on Yahoo and other search engine homepages; talking about “Women or men to avoid when dating”. I don’t know how you people feel about these this headline, but I have a real problem with that, it’s passively irritating to me, to see and read it.
Firstly, its school yard kid mentality to me, very childish to publish. I feel it would be better to say “habits people should consider not doing when on a date.” That statement doesn’t condemn anyone. There’s does. To say, “Women or men to avoid”. Is also to imply, people that do this on a date should be out casted and stigmatized by society. It orders society to do what they believe. It says to me, that someone with childish quirks of personal value has declared to the world, their values, are correct and the rest of the world’s values aren’t. Then they further declare, the kinds of values they don’t condone in people dating should be the rule. I immediately would ask that person “who the hell died and left you boss, judge, jury, and executioner of the world?”
It is appalling to me, to think, that someone actually could make such a public proclamation in journalism that is simply their personal preference to the public media audience. Lord have mercy on this person’s vanity and gross neglect of human civil rights. I got some real news for them; They ain’t the prince or princess of society! They also need to return to the learning lab where they learned Journalism and sit with their Instructors again about not creating articles with headlines like this. Their intent may have been to use their headline as an attention getter. Most readers are going to stop at the headlines to ascertain why the author has the audacity to segregate anyone, instead going into the actual article to read its content. At that point the originally intended true meaning of the article is lost by the reader to some extent due to outrage. I will avoid someone like them on dates.

Shadow!!! Maybe I understood your words uncorrectly! But I should to say (if I understood you correctly):
You must understand that any article in any media - a commodity that must be sold. And bright title, that beat on our nerves - is the packing of goods, which should attract the attention of the reader-buyer. You are angry because peremptory title of the article, you not like this idea, words - it is even better for rating articles, author and publisher. Even I want to read this article already!
Black PR is working more effectively very often!!!! You doing advertising for this article now!
